Couture at Fine Ally is an invitation into a slower, more personal way of creating clothing. We offer customized garments, made to fit your exact measurements or adapted to your specific needs.

As a slow fashion brand, we believe in caring for garments and fabrics so they can be worn and loved for longer. We also offer repairs and alterations, as well as the possibility to rework existing pieces into something new.

    In addition to our standard sizes, we offer the possibility to create made-to-measure,

    This can include:

    • Exact trouser length
    • Taking in or letting out the waist
    • Adjusting sleeve width or length
    • Custom fit changes depending on the garment

    We restore well-loved garments, reshape existing pieces into new silhouettes, and create custom designs from fabrics you already own. Whether it’s mending, reworking, or reimagining, we help give materials a new life and turn them into pieces you’ll love to wear again.

Couture & sustainability

Our couture philosophy is deeply connected to how we think about sustainability. All garments are made in our Stockholm atelier, sewn locally with care and precision. By producing everything in-house and on demand, we avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste. This is slow fashion in practice: fewer pieces, made better, meant to be worn and loved for years.

What couture means to us

Traditionally, couture refers to garments made by hand, in close dialogue between designer and wearer. It is rooted in a long history of ateliers, skilled seamstresses, and clothing created to last for generations.
